McDonald\u2019s, along with other major chains, has leaned heavily on discounts over the past year as inflation pressures consumer spending. Earlier campaigns like the $5 value meal and the buy-one-get-one-for-$1 deal were extended due to demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eight Meals Included in Expanded Value Menu<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The refreshed menu spans breakfast and lunch offerings, featuring:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sausage McMuffin with Egg<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sausage, Egg and Cheese McGriddle<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Egg McMuffin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bacon, Egg and Cheese Biscuit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Big Mac<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>10-piece Chicken McNuggets<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any Quarter Pounder burger<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any McCrispy Sandwich<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Promotional prices include a $5 breakfast combo (Sausage McMuffin with Egg, hash brown, and coffee) and an $8 Big Mac combo with fries and a drink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Targeting Non-App Users and Low-Income Guests<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>CEO Chris Kempczinski noted the new campaign is geared toward customers who are not already engaging with McDonald\u2019s app-exclusive deals. \u201cThat\u2019s roughly half of our customer base,\u201d he told CNBC\u2019s <em>Squawk Box<\/em>. He emphasized the economic stress on lower- and middle-income groups, calling the current market a \u201ctwo-tier economy.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the company\u2019s August earnings call, Kempczinski reaffirmed that re-engaging lower-income customers is vital. \u201cThey typically visit more frequently than other groups,\u201d he said, making them a crucial segment for the brand\u2019s recovery strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">More Deals on the Way<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>McDonald\u2019s is not stopping here.
